Good nutrition is very important for people with cancer.
The aim of the module is to strengthen nutritional care for people with
experience of cancer, which will help them maintain their quality of life.
Important guidelines are given on food safety and
ways to add calories and protein to your diet. It also explains
how different cancer treatments affect your diet and what you can do to help manage common side effects. By following a healthy diet, you get stronger, stay at a healthy weight and fight infections.

It can even help you to avoid or manage some side effects of treatment.The most important thing is to make sure you get your calories and protein you need to keep your body strong during the your treatment. Because of this, some of the information here may not help you seem very different from the dietary guidelines you usually follow.
