In a wonderful evening organized for the 7th consecutive year by BOUSSIAS, within the framework of the Healthcare Business Awards 2022 (https:\/\/www.healthcareawards.gr<\/a>), the Cancer Guidance Center (Kapa3) received two awards.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Mobile Prevention and Care Unit, our new initiative for 2022 <\/strong>received the SILVER award <\/strong>in the categoryQuality of Healthcare Services & Patient Care<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The collaboration<\/strong> between the Cancer Guidance Center<\/strong><\/a> and\u00a0the largest oncology hospital in Northern Greece, Theageneio Hospital<\/strong> (https:\/\/theageneio.gov.gr\/el\/<\/a>), and the Research Laboratory \u201cCare of Adult Cancer Patients\u201d<\/strong> of the Department of Nursing at the International Hellenic University (http:\/\/feaklab.nurse.ihu.gr<\/a>) provided solutions to one of the major challenges in healthcare.<\/p>\n

For all of us, the primary goal was to highlight the value and the strong potential of implementing innovative support methods, making appropriate use of tools, techniques, and synergies in order to upgrade healthcare services. And we achieved it.<\/p>\n

However, nothing would have been achieved without faith in the idea and vision of providing holistic care to the oncology patient, with employees, volunteers, and a large number of friends and fellow companions working toward this goal.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Finally, in the category Contribution to Health by NGOs<\/em><\/strong>, the Cancer\u00a0 Guidance Center received the BRONZE<\/strong> award.<\/p>\n

For all of us, healthcare services constitute the most sensitive\u2014perhaps the most critical\u2014aspect of social policy in an organized state. The provision of high-quality services to recipients presupposes a comprehensive, coherent, and effective healthcare delivery model and depends on multiple factors that require continuous monitoring and evaluation.<\/p>\n

Kapa3 is fortunate to be surrounded by a wide network<\/strong> of partners, volunteers, beloved fellow companions, and friends who persevere and persist together, ensuring that the organization always remains on the front line. The team\u2019s strong capacity to undertake initiatives of this scale enables outstanding collaborations\u2014with patient associations, academic institutions, other NGOs, and medical scientific societies\u2014as we all strive to address, in an effective way, the major challenges that arise.<\/p>\n

All of us promise that we will remain faithful to our motto: \u201cNO ONE ALONE.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The results of this specific initiative will be announced at the seminar\/event organized by Kapa3 on 11.11.2022.<\/p>\n
